Hi all!
Could someone tell me, how one can establish a dedi GR-server within a virtual server?
What kind of ISP is needed, and what options should present where (like remote desktop, OS, etc).
Need advise!

Hmm.. Within a virtual server. Not sure... In fact I dont have a clue does it work. GR's allways been tricky with dedi's - requires Windows server + 3Dcard to roll, and "normally" eats whole server just for itself. Though people who have more knowledge on this subject should post comments. I will ask some guru's about this and lets see can we get a solution here!

Btw. [ED] has some higher leet configs going on with their servers if I've understood correctly? Dade? Lafu?

Nope, good old days you rented one whole machine from some rack... Quess was it expensive... But basicly all dedi's been indivual computers for ages, true, not divided virtual servers. And Windows Server 2000's has been more expensive than Linux... and crappier aswell.

Single GR works well in wine, at least on the Ubuntu 9 with help of winetrick.

So, VGA-card is а critical point for the GR-dedi server?
I see many ISP in Moscow that are offering UNIX and Linux virtual servers just for 20-25 euros per month. This is why I askin )))
